Why is patio cleaning important?
Undeniably a clean patio helps to finish your beautifully maintained garden. When relaxing at the weekend, or hosting BBQs, it’s much nicer to have a clean patio. Yet a clean patio has more than just aesthetic benefits – an annual patio clean helps to keep your patio in good condition, with repairs less likely for much longer.
Slippery surfaces
When your patio gets dirty and moss and algae build up on it, it becomes slippery and dangerous.
By cleaning, either with our waterless rotary brush machines or softwashing with our custom cleaning solutions, we gently remove the biological growth and general grime, in turn removing the slippery coating. This helps with your safety and improves the appearance. Our post treatment helps keep the surface safer for longer.
Better than pressure washing
Whilst other cleaning companies boast about their high pressure jet washers, we refrain from using high pressure. Our low pressure cleaning methods provide brilliant cleaning results, without the harsh abuse that jet washing can inflict. High pressure jets of water can damage patio slabs, break up the mortar joints or remove the sand that is brushed in between the slabs.
Patio cleaning without a pressure washer also means that there is no wet splatter. Sometimes when jet washing you end up with a clean patio but filthy window and doors from the dirty, wet splashbacks.
